KEY FEATURES
Secure your trousers reliably with these original olive green German Army Braces.
Cold War Design & History
Originally issued to West German Bundeswehr forces during the Cold War, these genuine Hosentäger were built to support heavy moleskin field trousers. Engineered to handle weight during active operations, they offer a reliable alternative to modern tactical belts. They are designed specifically for trousers equipped with interior or exterior suspender attachment buttons.
Technical Specifications
These braces feature a robust Y-back configuration that distributes load evenly across the shoulders. They are built from 30mm wide olive green elasticated webbing with a contrasting cream backing. Sturdy, dual-attachment brown leather button loops are reinforced with heavy-duty metal rivets, while steel slide buckles allow for smooth length adjustment.
Modern Utility & Sizing
Perfect for bushcraft, forestry, or vintage workwear, these durable braces won't pinch or restrict your movement. They are available in lengths up to 120cm (measured fully extended), and each pair features authentic stamped military contract codes on the rear leather patch. They work flawlessly with both classic military and heavy-duty civilian utility pants.
Secure your next loadout and pair these rugged German braces with your favourite field trousers.
This item was used by the German Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
