British ATC Air Training Corps Cap Badge
Excellent, near-new condition. May be unissued or show only the slightest signs of long-term storage.
Genuine Issue Surplus
KEY FEATURES
An original unissued British ATC Air Training Corps cap badge, sourced directly from official military surplus.
MoD Approved Construction
This official RAF Air Cadet beret insignia is made to strict Ministry of Defence specifications. It features a chrome-plated gilding metal build, a robust engineering choice that ensures maximum resistance to rust and tarnishing when exposed to wet outdoor conditions. The high-shine silver finish remains bright, ensuring smart appearance on both berets and peaked caps.
Historic Falcon Design
Originally established in 1941, the Air Training Corps insignia features the symbolic falcon in flight surrounded by a bold circular ring. This 40mm round emblem is a piece of living aviation history. It is highly sought after by militaria collectors and historical reenactors who value the precise raised lettering and the rich heritage of the British Royal Air Force cadets.
Secure Shank Attachment
Designed for secure duty wear, the back of this Supergrade badge has two integrated copper-alloy lugs. It is mounted using a traditional brass cotter pin fastening (split pin), which prevents the badge from rotating or slipping off during high-activity use. This secure, reliable mounting system is vastly superior to modern plastic clips or fragile safety-pin backings.
Add this genuine piece of British aviation heritage to your uniform or insignia collection.
This item was issued to the British Airforce during the Modern (2000–Present) and remains in Supergrade condition. It is unissued original surplus, but may have minor dust or storage marks from warehouse storage. We recommend giving it a wash or airing it out before wearing.

- Origin: Typically unissued reserve stock, trial gear, or kit issued but never actively deployed.
- Fabric & Materials: Crisp, fully intact, and structurally perfect with original color vibrancy and no fading.
- Hardware & Fastenings: Zips, press studs, hook-and-loop closures, and buckles operate like new with no functional wear.
- Markings & Repairs: No holes, tears, repairs, or personalized user markings. Factory issue labels and faint depot storage stamps may be present.
- Storage & Scent: May show minor creasing or light dust from transit. Like most authentic military surplus held in long-term dry storage, items may carry a faint warehouse scent that clears easily with a quick first wash or air-out.
