Austrian Army Butter Dish
Good used condition. Fully functional and field-ready, with light wear and typical service markings.
Genuine Issue Surplus
KEY FEATURES
This Original Austrian Army Butter Dish is a genuine military surplus ration container.
WWII Design Heritage
These dishes are near-identical to the WWII German Wehrmacht Fettdose (fat container). Made for the post-war Austrian Bundesheer, they feature the official Heereseigentum (Army Property) stamp. They are perfect for WWII historical re-enactment, offering a cost-effective way to complete a classic German army soldier impression.
Military-Grade Quality
Each dish is made from a tough, food-grade hard plastic that resists oil, grease, and impact. The threaded lid has a tight twist-lock closure to prevent spills in your bag. Distinctive scalloped edges around the rim give you a firm, non-slip grip, even when opening the container with wet, cold, or greasy hands.
Outdoor Utility
Measuring 10cm in diameter, this pocket-sized container is ideal for camping, bushcraft, and survival kits. It safely holds butter, lard, cheese, or dried foods. You can also use it to protect matches, tinder, or fishing gear. These items are in Grade 1 condition, showing light signs of use from military service.
Add this rugged, multipurpose military surplus container to your outdoor kit today.
This item was used by the Austrian Army during the WWII (1939–1945) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
