This original Mauser 1935 brass muzzle cover protects rifle barrels from debris and moisture.
Bore and Crown Protection
Designed for Mauser Model 1935 rifles, this muzzle cover shields the rifle crown and bore against mud, dirt, and wet weather during field carry. Solid brass was chosen over steel because it resists rust naturally and will not scrape or damage the delicate rifling at the muzzle edge.
Sight-Blocking Safety Design
The cover uses an internal tension spring mechanism that snaps firmly over the front sight assembly. Extending up over the front sight blade, the brass frame physically blocks the sight picture to prevent accidental firing while the muzzle protector remains fitted.
Original Military Issue
Each piece is genuine military surplus, showing an original aged patina across the metal surface. These covers are ideal for completing a period rifle rig, protecting collector firearms in transit, or outfitting historical living history displays.

This item was used by the German Army during the Post-WW1 (1919–1938) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
