This is the German Kriegsmarine Service Watch, an accurate reproduction of the wartime naval issue timepiece.

Historical Naval Design

During the Second World War, the German Navy issued standard service timepieces, or Dienstuhren, to officers and crew for coordinated timing at sea. This piece is modelled on the classic KM Festa 720, originally produced by Alpina. It features the distinctive silver dial marked with the official K.M. designation and outer railway-style minute track.

Accurate Markings and Low-Light Dial

The dial houses glow-in-the-dark hands and hour indices, providing fast legibility in low-light ship quarters. A dedicated subsidiary seconds dial sits above the 6 o'clock marker. On the reverse, the stainless steel caseback is stamped with Wasserdicht Stahlboden and wartime issue number 139085 to match original production standards.

Reliable Quartz Movement and Daily Durability

Inside, a battery-powered dual quartz movement delivers dependable timekeeping without requiring daily manual winding. It features a hacking function on the crown for precise synchronisation. Paired with a grained brown PU leather strap and rated to 3 ATM water resistance, it handles splashes easily while arriving in a dedicated presentation box.
