French Army FELIN Sateen T4 Combat Jacket
Excellent, near-new condition. May be unissued or show only the slightest signs of long-term storage.
Genuine Issue Surplus
KEY FEATURES
This is a genuine unissued French Army FELIN Sateen T4 Combat Jacket in supergrade condition.
Cold-Weather Field Protection
The Veste de Combat FÉLIN T4 is engineered for temperate and cold-weather deployment. Made from a heavy-duty, dense cotton-polyester sateen weave, the jacket provides exceptional windproof insulation and natural water resistance. This robust fabric is far heavier than standard summer ripstop, making it the perfect outer layer for modern bushcraft, winter hiking, and rugged outdoor work.
Advanced Tactical Storage
Storage efficiency is outstanding, featuring ten tactical pockets designed for combat gear. It has vertical zippered 'Napoleon' chest pockets for documents, button-down waist pockets, sleeve pockets with easy-grip pull tabs, and a large, dual-access lumbar poacher's pocket. This layout distributes heavy gear weight evenly across the torso, preventing snags in dense woodland.
Modular Weather Adaptability
Built to replace the F2 system, this T4 jacket features modern comfort upgrades. A detachable hood has an integrated malleable wire frame to shape the brim against heavy rain. Underarm ventilation zippers allow rapid cooling during high exertion, while internal waist drawcords seal out drafts. Canadian slotted buttons remain easy to operate with thick gloves on.
Secure this unissued piece of French infantry gear for your next cold-weather camping or hiking expedition.
This item was issued to the French Army during the Modern (2000–Present) and remains in Supergrade condition. It is unissued original surplus, but may have minor dust or storage marks from warehouse storage. We recommend giving it a wash or airing it out before wearing.

Supergrade is our highest condition rating for genuine military surplus. Items in this category are in near-new, top-tier condition and have seen little to no field use.
- Origin: Typically unissued reserve stock, trial gear, or kit issued but never actively deployed.
- Fabric & Materials: Crisp, fully intact, and structurally perfect with original color vibrancy and no fading.
- Hardware & Fastenings: Zips, press studs, hook-and-loop closures, and buckles operate like new with no functional wear.
- Markings & Repairs: No holes, tears, repairs, or personalized user markings. Factory issue labels and faint depot storage stamps may be present.
- Storage & Scent: May show minor creasing or light dust from transit. Like most authentic military surplus held in long-term dry storage, items may carry a faint warehouse scent that clears easily with a quick first wash or air-out.
A four-color temperate woodland pattern with thick, horizontal organic shapes of tan/beige, medium/dark green, brown, and black disruptive elements. Designed for concealment within Central European forests and plains, it replaced older French patterns and offered larger macro elements compared to American M81 Woodland.

“This is a great smock. Just received this, and love it. The condition is excellent. The Sateen material is very nice (I do prefer it to ripstop). Pocket placement it better that other French smocks. I would definitely have another one.”
“Big Buttons! Lots of pockets, feels good”
