It replaced older single-colour olive fatigues with the Camouflage Centre-Europe (CCE) pattern. This four-colour woodland scheme blends green, brown, tan, and black tones to break up outlines across varied forest and brush terrain.

Woven from a heavy polycotton twill, this cloth provides breathable comfort while resisting thorns and abrasions. The lower legs feature elasticated ankle hems engineered to fit neatly inside high-leg military boots without bunching. Storage includes two deep slash hand pockets and two flat press-stud thigh pockets. Sizing uses waist measurements in centimetres alongside length letters (C for short, M for regular, L for long).
