KEY FEATURES
This genuine Dutch Army NBC Carry Bag provides highly water-resistant storage to protect your outdoor gear.
Originally Engineered for NBC Defence
This genuine Dutch Army barrel-shaped bag was originally designed to carry nuclear, biological, and chemical (NBC) protective suits and M89 gas masks. Made from heavy-duty, polyurethane-coated nylon, it offers excellent water resistance. This tough construction provides reliable protection for your gear against rain, mud, and abrasive ground surfaces in the field.
Modular Daypack Attachment
For tactical integration, this pack features two male quick-release buckles on one end. These allow you to clip the bag directly onto the shoulder straps of Dutch daysacks, such as the Lowe Alpine Sting or Strike. A reinforced grab handle and dual wrap-around carry straps offer versatile hand-carry and lash-down options for motorbikes, boats, or vehicle boots.
Practical Field Design
The bag utilises a chunky top zipper shielded by a protective storm flap to block out dust, debris, and water. A clear hook-and-loop ID card window on the front is ideal for kit labelling. This spacious 10 to 15-litre barrel bag easily expands, making it highly useful for storing bushcraft sleep systems, wet laundry, or muddy boots separate from your dry gear.
Equip your outdoor kit with this rugged Dutch military surplus barrel bag for reliable all-weather gear storage.
This item was used by the Dutch Army during the Post‑Cold War (1991–2000) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.

Grade 1 represents solid, fully functional military surplus that has been deployed or issued but remains in great usable condition with plenty of life left.
- Functionality: 100% field-ready. All main zippers, press studs, drawstrings, and buckles work as intended with no critical faults.
- Fabric & Wear: Structurally sound with light cosmetic wear, minor abrasion, or subtle fading from normal military use and laundering.
- Markings & Personalisation: May feature soldier names, unit numbers, service markings, or light depot stamps written on tags or fabric.
- Repairs: May include neat, professional military-standard stitches or minor reinforcement patches that do not compromise gear integrity.
- Storage & Cleanliness: Gear is serviceable straight out of the box, though a standard initial wash or airing is recommended to clear typical military surplus storage scent and minor handling dust.
This four-color temperate brushstroke pattern is a derivative of British DPM, featuring black, chocolate brown, and olive green disruptive shapes on a yellowish-tan background, often noted for its slightly muted appearance. Adopted in 1993 as part of the M-93 uniform for the Royal Netherlands Army, it was optimized for concealment within the dense forests and fields of northwest European terrain.
