Virtus Soldier System Evolution
Issued to replace legacy PLCE kit under the 2015 Virtus Soldier System, this Mk3 rucksack was engineered by Source Tactical Gear. Built from heavy-duty Cordura nylon in Multi-Terrain Pattern (MTP), it features a shaped back profile designed to clear body armour plates and keep heavy gear close to your centre of gravity on rough ground.
Clamshell Access and Organisation
Unlike top-loading packs that force you to dig for gear, the full clamshell zip opens completely flat for immediate kit access. An internal radio pouch secures electronics, while the lower zip compartment isolates your sleeping bag or bivvy bag. Side zips allow you to attach standard issue hydration bladders or PLCE side pouches for extra capacity.
Adjustable Back System and Load Support
A fully adjustable ladder back harness and internal aluminium frame let you fit the back length to your torso in seconds. Thickly padded lumbar and shoulder pads cushion loads up to 90 litres across long treks. External MOLLE loops and a fold-out helmet cradle secure bulky wet-weather jackets, roll mats, or entrenching tools without eating internal space.

This item was used by the British Army during the Modern (2000–Present) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
