Post-War Italian Heritage
After 1945, the Italian Army adopted British-style equipment, creating their own 1937 Pattern webbing accessories. This three-pocket carrier was designed to hold rifle ammunition, offering a unique variation on the standard British single-pocket carrier. Made in Italy using local materials, these pouches lack British stamps like the Broad Arrow, but feature distinct Italian characteristics.
Rugged Canvas Construction
This pouch is made from heavyweight cotton canvas with a highly visible, coarse weave that stands up to heavy wear in the field. Each of the three pockets is fitted with a solid brass press-stud, often stamped by makers like Fiocchi.
