German Army Design
This original German military cap features the classic five-colour Flecktarn camouflage pattern. First adopted by the Bundeswehr in 1990, this pattern is highly effective in woodland terrain. Made from a durable cotton and polyester blend, the outer shell resists wear and tear while providing reliable service in the field.
Thermal Insulation
The interior is fully lined with a warm wool-blend lining that traps body heat to keep your head warm in cold weather. Unlike synthetic materials, this natural fibre lining manages moisture well and stays warm even if damp. It is built to stand up to freezing winter temperatures during long periods of outdoor activity.
Adjustable Ear Flaps
The cap has fold-down ear flaps lined with soft, insulating faux fur. These flaps drop down to cover your ears, cheeks and chin, and secure tightly with a hook-and-loop strap. When the weather gets milder, you can fold the flaps up and fasten them over the crown of the hat. A stiff visor shields your eyes from sun, sleet or snow.

This item was used by the German Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
