KEY FEATURES
The USMC MARPAT Desert Camo Field Jacket is an original US Marine Corps service uniform blouse.
Marine Corps History & Design
Introduced in 2002 for the Marine Corps Combat Utility Uniform, this field jacket features the pixelated Desert MARPAT camouflage pattern. It replaced the older BDU, giving Marines a specialized digital pattern with micro Eagle, Globe, and Anchor (EGA) logos woven into the fabric for visual identification in arid terrain.
Tactical Layout & Storage
Built for practical field use, the chest features slanted hook-and-loop pockets designed to stay accessible under chest rigs or body armour. Both upper sleeves include bellowed shoulder pockets for small gear, while an embroidered EGA emblem sits proudly on the left chest pocket.
Rugged Material & Utility
Made from a tough 50/50 nylon-cotton twill, this jacket offers breathable durability for hiking, bushcraft, and workwear. Reinforced elbow panels feature internal slots for elbow pads, and the no-snag inverted button cuffs keep your sleeves secured without catching on brush.
Gear up with genuine USMC field surplus for your next outdoor trip or bushcraft kit.
This item was used by the US Marines during the Modern (2000–Present) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.

Grade 1 represents solid, fully functional military surplus that has been deployed or issued but remains in great usable condition with plenty of life left.
- Functionality: 100% field-ready. All main zippers, press studs, drawstrings, and buckles work as intended with no critical faults.
- Fabric & Wear: Structurally sound with light cosmetic wear, minor abrasion, or subtle fading from normal military use and laundering.
- Markings & Personalisation: May feature soldier names, unit numbers, service markings, or light depot stamps written on tags or fabric.
- Repairs: May include neat, professional military-standard stitches or minor reinforcement patches that do not compromise gear integrity.
- Storage & Cleanliness: Gear is serviceable straight out of the box, though a standard initial wash or airing is recommended to clear typical military surplus storage scent and minor handling dust.
A digital arid pattern blending desert tan, coyote brown, and pale khaki micro-pixels, forming small rectangular shapes. It was designed to disrupt outlines across dry brush and sun-bleached desert, replacing traditional analog desert uniforms for enhanced concealment.

“I purchased from Surplus Quartermasters. I opted for the 32" XS (not a lot of choice here, so I took my chance!). The garment is nigh on brand new. I'm 5'7" and skinny with it these days. Length wise it's fine though still surprisingly boxy in cut throughout the body though I'm pleased I chose XS. I genuinely thought this would be a close fit or even way too tight (straight to the charity store) but there's some room here whilst looking quite sharp still. I'll wear this garment to and from the pub looking slick AF. It's marked inside with the original wearers deets, though it's washed well, irons easily and looks great.”
