Authentic Military Heritage
Issued to German armed forces as Reinigungsdochte, these barrel wicks were standard equipment for service weapons like the G3 rifle. Supplied in unissued Supergrade condition, they provide the exact military-spec bore maintenance solution relied upon by soldiers in the field.
Customisable Calibre Fit
Each wick features 16 individual cotton strands measuring approximately 18cm long. You can thread the full bundle through standard pull-through chains for .30 calibre barrels, or peel away individual strands to fit smaller .22 and 5.56mm bores without snagging.
Versatile Field Performance
Beyond clearing carbon fouling and evenly spreading gun oil, these 100% natural fibres serve as reliable emergency tinder for bushcraft. Soft and lint-free, they will not scratch rifling grooves or delicate internal action parts during routine servicing.

This item was issued to the German Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and remains in Supergrade condition. It is unissued original surplus, but may have minor dust or storage marks from warehouse storage. We recommend giving it a wash or airing it out before wearing.
