Cold War Flight Equipment
Issued to LSK aircrews operating Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters, this soft flight cap provided wind protection inside cold cockpits. Made from durable Lederol synthetic leather, the outer shell keeps drafts out while remaining lightweight and oil resistant.
Headset Compatible Design
Reinforced ear cutouts allow ear defenders or radio headsets to seal against your head without pinching. Inside, a soft herringbone cotton lining absorbs sweat and delivers all-day comfort during range shooting or outdoor work.
Secure Buckle Fastening
An adjustable chin strap with metal buckle ensures a firm fit when worn alone or as an under-cap liner. Top flaps with press studs hold headset wiring neatly in place to prevent snagging during movement.

This item was used by the German Airforce during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
