Originally issued in the early 1990s during operations in Bosnia and the Gulf, this genuine British Army Combat Body Armour (CBA) cover represents a major step in soldier protection. It was designed to upgrade standard fragmentation vests by adding external pockets for hard ceramic plates. This temperate Woodland DPM (Disruptive Pattern Material) vest became iconic.
Field-Ready Construction
This vest is made from a rugged cotton-polyester blend that stands up to heavy field wear. It features dual overlapping front flaps with a strong hook-and-loop closure and a top press stud. Adjustable side webbing straps let you modify the fit over bulky layers. A central chest rank slide with a secure button adds traditional military functionality.

This item was used by the British Army during the Post‑Cold War (1991–2000) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
