British Army Gore-Tex Trousers - Desert DPM Camo
Good used condition. Fully functional and field-ready, with light wear and typical service markings.
Genuine Issue Surplus
KEY FEATURES
Genuine British Army "Gore-Tex" trousers in Desert DPM camo. These provide reliable rain protection.
Battle-Tested MVP Fabric
These trousers are made from Moisture Vapour Permeable (MVP) material, the British military's equivalent to Gore-Tex. Unlike heavy rubberised gear, this high-performance membrane features microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to pass through but large enough for sweat vapour to escape. This smart engineering prevents that damp, clammy feeling when you are active outdoors.
Generous Over-Trouser Cut
Designed as a protective hard shell, these trousers feature a roomy, generous cut. This makes them easy to wear over your standard cargo pants, jeans, or workwear. They feature a simple drawstring waist and elasticated ankles, letting you quickly pull them on over muddy boots when a sudden downpour hits. There are no pockets to ensure absolute waterproof integrity.
Desert Campaign Heritage
Issued during the Gulf War and Afghanistan campaigns, this genuine Desert DPM (Disruptive Pattern Material) kit is built to last. Our surplus stock is graded as Grade 1 used condition, meaning they have seen light military service but remain fully functional and waterproof. It is a highly durable, unique alternative to generic civilian rain gear for bushcraft and hiking.
Equip yourself with proven military-issue wet weather protection for your next outdoor adventure.
This item was used by the British Army during the Modern (2000–Present) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.

Grade 1 represents solid, fully functional military surplus that has been deployed or issued but remains in great usable condition with plenty of life left.
- Functionality: 100% field-ready. All main zippers, press studs, drawstrings, and buckles work as intended with no critical faults.
- Fabric & Wear: Structurally sound with light cosmetic wear, minor abrasion, or subtle fading from normal military use and laundering.
- Markings & Personalisation: May feature soldier names, unit numbers, service markings, or light depot stamps written on tags or fabric.
- Repairs: May include neat, professional military-standard stitches or minor reinforcement patches that do not compromise gear integrity.
- Storage & Cleanliness: Gear is serviceable straight out of the box, though a standard initial wash or airing is recommended to clear typical military surplus storage scent and minor handling dust.
This two-colour pattern consists of bold, dark brown brushstrokes and disruptive shapes distributed across a pale sandy-beige background. Primarily designed for open arid environments, it was rapidly developed for British forces deploying to the Persian Gulf in 1990-91, replacing earlier four-colour trials to ensure effective concealment.
