US Army 6th Infantry Division Patch
Good used condition. Fully functional and field-ready, with light wear and typical service markings.
Genuine Issue Surplus
KEY FEATURES
This original US Army 6th Infantry Division patch features the iconic red six-pointed star insignia.
Unit History & Designation
Official US Army shoulder sleeve insignia issued for the 6th Infantry Division, nicknamed the Red Star Division. First approved in 1918, this six-pointed star design represents numerical unit designation and leadership. The division earned its reputation across major engagements in both World Wars and the Pacific campaign, making this a genuine piece of military history.
Construction & Specifications
Made with dense embroidered thread, this badge features a textured red face and a tightly bound stitched edge. The durable textile construction prevents fraying during active wear or display mounting. Measuring approximately 6.5cm by 6.5cm, its compact design allows straightforward sew-on attachment to field jackets, caps, gear bags, or tunic sleeves.
Collector & Reenactor Utility
Ideal for military insignia collectors and historical reenactors seeking authentic military surplus badges. The flexible cloth backing mounts cleanly onto field uniform sleeves, tactical display boards, or memorabilia frames without adding excess weight or stiffness.
