Originally issued by the Swiss military during the Cold War as a valise (clothing bag), this rugged carrier served to protect pressed trousers, uniforms, and sensitive documents. Its unique two-way folding design allowed messengers and soldiers to carry it either as a compact attaché briefcase or extend it fully to transport garments without creasing.
Waterproof Vinyl & Steel Catches
Engineered for the demanding alpine climate, the bag is made from heavy-duty, waterproof rubberised vinyl. This textured, olive-green material keeps rain and mud out, protecting your gear, laptop, or folders. A durable internal zip closure runs along the inner sleeve, while dual outer metal latches lock the exterior flap shut to prevent spillage during transit.
Sizing & Adjustable Carry Options

This item was used by the Swiss Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
