Solid Steel Utility
The pointed steel blade is secured by a robust, textured threaded locking collar. By turning this collar, you can lock the blade at a 90-degree angle for scraping or clearing hard ground, or keep it straight for standard digging. The straight hardwood handle naturally absorbs high impact shocks far better than modern plastic, reducing hand fatigue during long hours of work.
Compact Field Carriage
This tool comes in a double-layered PVC Spatentasche cover. The backing has heavy-duty M1910 metal wire keepers, allowing you to attach it to standard eyelet combat belts or backpacks. This item was used by the Austrian Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
