Cold War Heritage
These are original DDR Koppelschlaufen, the standard-issue belt loops used by the East German Nationale Volksarmee (NVA). Throughout the Cold War, soldiers slid these directly onto their web belts to attach suspenders and keep heavy field gear from sliding around. They are a genuine piece of military load management that is perfect for collectors today.
Rugged Materials
Each loop features heavy 25mm stone-grey nylon webbing, doubled over and tightly stitched so it will not fray under load. The wide sleeve fits belts up to 50mm, and the bottom is finished with a zinc-coated, galvanised steel ring. This solid metal hardware will not rust or bend, making it a reliable hook for wet outdoor environments.
Versatile Utility
For bushcraft, camping, or daily wear, these loops are great for hanging extra gear. You can slide them onto your belt to attach keys, canteens, or small tools without needing plastic clips. This item was used by the German Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
