Load-Carrying Design & Fit
Officially designated as Braces, W.E. Patt. '37, these straps form the backbone of the British Army load carriage rig. The set features 1-inch webbing that expands into a 2-inch flared shoulder section, designed to stop straps digging in when carrying heavy basic pouches, entrenching tools, or water bottles on long marches.
Interlocking Loop Construction
Each pair includes a dedicated left and right strap. The left brace includes a crossover web loop at the back, allowing the right brace to pass through securely. Sturdy metal-tipped ends prevent fraying and slot directly into standard 1-inch waist belt buckles or haversack attachment links.
