Robust Wood & Steel Construction
Each peg is made with a solid ash wood core, chosen for its natural impact resistance and elasticity under ground stress. To prevent splitting, the head is banded with a pinned steel collar that absorbs mallet blows. This item was used by the German Army during the Late Cold War (1961–1991) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
