Military Issue Utility
These Y-back braces are genuine British military surplus, originally issued for the No.2 Future Army Dress (FAD) uniform. Made with heavy-duty grey elasticated webbing and a stitched tan leather junction, they are engineered to distribute trouser weight evenly across your shoulders, reducing pressure during long hours of active wear or outdoor work.
Traditional Button Attachment
Rather than relying on metal clips that slip and damage fabrics, this design features six genuine leather button tabs. These loops attach directly to brace buttons on your trouser waistband. This six-point suspension system prevents fabric sagging and provides a secure hold, making it ideal for high-waisted workwear, vintage trousers, or reenactment gear.
Adjustable All-Day Comfort
Equipped with flat, silver-toned metal slide buckles, these braces can be adjusted up to 95cm in length with an additional three inches of stretch. The 35mm-wide elastic straps flex naturally as you bend, preventing restrictive pulling. This makes them highly practical for bushcraft, gardening, or tactical drills where standard belts restrict movement or pinch the waist.

This item was used by the British Army during the Modern (2000–Present) and is in Grade 1 condition. It is in very good condition with plenty of life left. We recommend giving it a wash before wearing.
